Default Oil Light comes on

I recently bought an 08 Aspen with the Hemi and 4x4. Over the weekend there was a family emergency and I was on it hard. At one point I believe I had it floored trying to get my wife to her grandfather before he passed away. While driving the red oil light came on, but I did not care because I needed to get my wife to her grandfather which was only 3 or 4 miles from when it came on. After I got to his home and we went to leave afer he passed the light was off and it has never came back on. The dealership changed the oil before I bought it and I have an extended warranty. Is this anything I should be concerned about?

Engine Oil Pressure Indicator Light:
This light indicates that the engine oil pressure has become too low. If the light turns on while driving, stop the vehicle and shut off the engine as soon as possible. See your authorized dealer for service immediately.

If the light triggers the Trouble Code P0524 - "Engine Oil Pressure Too Low" this MAY indicate that a software upgrade is needed.

Your dealer is the best source to diagnose and verify if there is any major concerns to worry about given the circumstances of how hard the vehicle was driven.
