Default Power side mirrors not working

I have a '07 Aspen that the mirrors only work when I put it in reverse. They don't work with the switch. Everything else seems fine. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm going to assume you mean that the side mirrors cannot be adjusted with the switch, but that they still tilt down in reverse per your settings. I'm also going to assume you have toggled the switch between left and right for testing, and you are not simply moving the "joystick" with the switch in the middle (off) position.

If the above is true, you probably have a bad mirror switch, which will require replacement as follows:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Pry the wood trim to remove the entire switch assembly with windows/mirror/lock switches.

3. Disconnect the electrical harness from the back of the assembly.

4. Remove the power window switch from the assembly.

Install is the reverse of the above. Of course, you'll need to order the part online or from your friendly neighborhood Chrysler dealer.

Good luck!

You assume correct. I'll give a new switch a try and let you know.

That's great news - glad it worked out.
