Radio with DVD

I recently purchased an 08' Aspen and noticed that the radio can play both CDs and DVDs. So my question is, would it be possible to just install a roof mounted monitor and hook it up to the in-dash DVD player? Obviously the Aspen I purchased didn't come with the rear DVD system.

Any help would be great appreciated!!
