Default Window Switch

The window switch for the driver's door is acting up. It goes up when pulled partway, but does nothing if pulled all the way to the "auto up" position. Auto down, etc. still works as it should.

I assume I need to replace that entire group of switches, as they all look to be connected (4 windows + window lock, etc.). Do I need to remove the door panel to take care of this, or can it be popped out?

Yes, sounds like you'll need to replace the switches. You'll have to take the door panel off which from what I've read is pretty easy. Remove the screws on the bottom and push straight up. The switches themselves look to cost between $35-$55 on ebay. Good Luck!

I discovered that the switch is now working again -- not sure if it was a fuse issue or what, but it's fine for now.

Probably not a fuse... they either work or they're blown and they dont. Sounds like a loose connection or a faulty switch. My guess is that the problem will eventually return.
