Just purchased two replacement wiper blades for my 2009 aspen. All the replacement brochures call for 26 inch driver side and 21 inch passanger side. I got the Rain X, Lattitude. The 21 inch on the passenger side seems to big. Did I install them incorrectly or is the 21 inch size incorrect? After doing some searching on line on the rain X site it says there are no wipers available for the Aspen in the Rainx Lattitude. Tire rack is listing replacement but they are 26 and 20, not the lattitiude but other makes. I know this might sound like a stupid question but has anyone replaced their blades and if so what size did they put on? Thank you.

I used the recommended 21" Goodyear Assurance (Costco). It was too big, and hit the edge of the windshield. Thus, I returned it for the 20". OE was 20". I don't know why aftermarket recommends 21"? I have a thread about this somewhere down the page.
Per the vehicle service manaul the right wiper blade is 53.00 centimeters (20.87 inches) long, and the left blade is 65.09 centimeters (25.63 inches) long. Both have non-replaceable rubber elements (squeegees).
The Installation instructions read:
1. Lift the wiper arm off of the windshield glass, until the wiper arm hinge is in its over-center position.
2. Position the wiper blade near the hook formation on the tip of the arm with the notched end of the wiper element flexor oriented towards the end of the wiper arm that is nearest to the wiper pivot.
3. Insert the hook formation on the tip of the arm through the opening in the blade superstructure ahead of the pivot block far enough to engage the pivot block into the hook.
4. Slide the pivot block up into the hook formation on the tip of the wiper arm until the latch release tab snaps into its locked position. Latch engagement will be accompanied by an audible click.
5. Gently lower the wiper blade and element onto the glass.
