Default Running/fog lights won't turn off

My 2005 srt's battery died and I installed a new one 2 days ago. This morning the fog/running lights are on and won't turn off. Owned the car since day one. Never had this problem. Started car to "reset". No luck. Toggled the light switch. No result. Any advice?

There is a timer that delays these for approx 15 seconds, maybe that is malfunctioned or your switch is not off.

I am having this same problem with my Crossfire and was wondering if you ever found what was causing this and what the solution is.

Hello cinrad,

It was a control panel/module below the spare tire in the trunk. The dealership claimed my fairing was leaking into the trunk and shorted it out. It was replaced for nearly $800 and now it runs fine.
