Hello,
I'm a proud owner of a black 2005 SRT 6 Coupe. Last year about this time the Supercharger went out on it, but happily was repaired as though under warranty.
Yesterday, as I'm coasting down the road (not touching gas or brake pedals and not using cruise control), a high pitched whine starts up. It seems to only happen at higher speeds - coasting anywhere from 70 to around 40. The noise doesn't seem to happen below 35mph. Today when using the cruise control to zip around town I did not hear the noise.
It doesn't seem to matter if the air conditioning is on or not, nor the radio being on or not.
It is fairly ear splitting/headache inducing. Any ideas?
Miles: around 50k (Supercharger replaced at 40k)

Well I haven't gotten any responses (not sure how many views), but it no longer does this... in fact it only seemed to do this above issue for 3-4 days.
It a lovely doorstop right now though. It appears the SKREEM unit is now not operating properly and I'm not able to start the car. (or unlock/lock/unalarm it) So I don't know if this item above is related or not... but new troubles have arisen.
