04 Pacifica rattles when cold & going up a hill
My wife's 04 pacifica has a strange rattle. It only happens when she drives up the hill at the exit to our subdivision when the car is cold. It sounds almost like the AC clutch is rattling or chattering, but turning it off doesnt make it stop. The harder the acceleration, the louder it is. It is loud enough to hear clearly outside the car. Once the car warms up the rattle is gone and everything runs smoothly.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? Thanks

Problem soved...
wiring harness was intermittently grounding causing the transmission control solenoid pack to rattle. It got to the point where the transmission went into limp home mode and threw a P0888 code.
The location of the short was right behind where the wiring harness clips to the intake plenum on the driver's side. There is a random post cast into the lower intake manifold that created a great pressure point on the wiring harness.
The noise is gone and the transmission is shifting smoothly now...
