Default 05 pacifica heater vents

Hi, I have an 05 pacifica and no matter where I have the heat output set to, it comes through the vents. I've seen previous posts that says to replace a door, another one said to replace some kind of thermostat unit behind the dash. Well I'm lost on what I should actually look for to replace. Any ideas and/or suggestions would be great since it's decided to act up now and not during the summer lol. thanks.

take a look there are a few threads on this issue. the glove compartment snaps out from the sides, behind it in the plastic duct work is the unit with 2 screws holding it in. unplug it and just replace it, costs i think $70, replacement may not look exactly the same but everything fits perfect
