06 Pacifica front end noise
Hello to all,
I am new to the Chrysler Forum so hopefully I am posting this question in the right place.
The wife and I just purchased a 2006 Pacifica AWD with 19k miles on it and we love this car. There is only one thing about the car we just noticed that has us kinda concerned. At speeds of 40 mph and greater you can hear a noise coming from the front. This is NOTthe "pop" or "clunk"I have read about on here, but rather a "whirring" noise that is rhythmic in nature. Almost like a long drawn out pulsating noise. You can almost feel it in the floor of the front seat passenger compartment. It is more noticable on asphalt roads than concrete roads. I took it to my local dealer and theysaid it was proabably the road surface or the tires. basicaly it's just the way the car sounds, but the noise is there all the time on all roads. It's louder/more noticable when the road turns to the left at high speeds (65-75 mph) does anyone know or understand what I am talking about. ?? or am I nuts?.. sorry this is so long winded.
Oh yeah, it has AWD and the dealer rotated the tires (michelin MKV energy tires) but the noise is still there
Thanks gang,
Bill
