show me that quesion for your radio I want to see it. U are telling me there is not an aftermarket hook for a PAC radio?
As for the TIPM there are still some system that onal dealer can get assess to them and see whatt eh codes are and thus reprogram the sensors.
Some are self learn as u drive some require a megantic ring to make them relearn. All depends on the system u have and from year to year. IF u want to go toe to toe let roll.
look what I found

Just so you know, the only harness that works is the one from the last link. That wasn't the original harness that I asked you about. I never said there wasn't a harness, simply stated you told me the wrong one would work. I had to get on the phone with Metra in order to get the right harness. The thread is here somewhere with a subject line of radio harness or radio question. We'll chalk it up as a mistake.

In terms of the TMPS, you never stated there were different ones. So I stand corrected.

Sorry that I questioned your credentials. Hope you accept my appology.

no U are still on the right area moe he was talking about the tire pressure sensors some will relearn when u drive some will need the round relearn tool some will only work with a drb or scan tool. The key fob is still up in the air the ones with the key built in only a dealer can do thoes the others u can work around in different ways.

Hello,
I've read an hour of posts and don't know the answer to this question.
I just bought a 2004 Pacifica with only 1 keyless remote. No other key.
The key fob reads
IC 267F-5WY72XX
FCC ID M3N5WY72XX
PN-04727362AB
Questions
1. Do I need a fob with exact numbers or just the exact FCC ID?
2. Can I purchase a used fob with a new key blank and have it programmed
by the dealer so that all buttons and key functions correctly? or
3. Do I need to purchase a never used fob and have it programmed so that
everything functions correctly and starts my Pacifica?
I have read that used fobs can never be reused with a new key portion installed and cut for my Pacifica. The article said once programmed, a key fob cannot be reprogrammed to work in another vehicle.
I look forward to your comments and advice

Default It can be done at home

I have two 2006 Pacificas and have programmed a spare key for each of them. Also did one for my father's Dodge Caravan, a 2005, I think.

If you look in the Owner's Manual (go figure), you will find the procedure. You have to have TWO good keys to do it, you can then program a third. This is to prevent an unauthorized person who you may leave the car with from making a key.

You can buy a blank key with out a fob, but with the chip inside on EBay for undr $20. This is what I did. Keys with fobs are available, at a higher price. I just wanted a spare, incase I lose one, or lock myself out, so I got the cheaper one. Took it to a hardware store with my regular key, they were able to cut it to fit the lock. Then I followed the procedure in the manual (don't rember it, but it involved inserting both original keys, turning them on and off, then inserting the new key, and turning that, in a specific sequence). It was not hard to do.

If you have only one key, it is another story, in that case, only the dealer can do it for you.
