Default 07 Pacifica Navigation System Issue

All,
The navigation system for my Pacifica is saying "error reading disc" and continues "Loading..." for a couple minutes then turns off. My wife had pressed and held, she thinks, the NAV button and it reset the system and then was working for a day or two, but then went back to this same problem. Is this a problem with the NAV DVD in the back of the car? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you much!

It sounds like the disc is defective. Have you attempted to clean the disc? Have you tried to play a dvd in it to see if it will load? I'm not certain if it is only for the nav disc or if it'll play movies. See what happens with the disc in your entertainment center to see if it loads or gives the same symptoms...? Just some thoughts and a response, not just a view.

Good Luck!

Default Nav Issue

Thank you for the reply. I have tried 2 different model # nav discs with and experienced the same issue - model AE and model AH. Could the DVD player in the back end of the vehicle where the nav disc loads be the issue? Thoughts anyone?
