Hello everyone, I have tried searching but have not found any info which pertains to what I am looking for so I am hoping someone may be able to guide me in the right direction.

Upon getting an oil change I was informed that the right rear axle seal on differential was leaking (vehicle is an 07 Pacifica AWD Limited edition.) Today I went to the dealer to see if they had a seal thinking I may be able to put it in myself.

When the lady at the counter entered the info to check for a seal a note was posted on the 07 models stating that the RR seals could not be replaced by themselves. It apparently said the LR seals could be but the whole differential unit would have to be replaced to fix the leak on the right side, where ous is leaking from.

I need to take this vehicle across country soon and would like to have this repaired before going. So if anyone has any information on this issue I would greatly appreciate it.
