My Pacifica has progressively struggled more and more to start, and today it barely did, and the check engine indicator illuminated for the first time. I presume the battery needs replacing, and I was wondering if any special procedure is needed. I know that in modern cars, removing the batteries can wipe the memory, which can cause nasty side effects. Is this the case with the Pacifica? Do I need to do anything special, or can I just replace the battery and be on my way?
To minvi: I can't say if my PAC "eats" batteries, as I've only had the car for three months.
