Default 2006 Pacifica and aftermarket Radio

I'm trying to install a Aftermarket Pioneer Avic Z2 into my Pac. It's a 2006 model. It has a RAH radio. No NAV or DVD. I've installed headrest monitors but now I can't get sound through my speakers. Do all Pacificas require the CAN BUS Adapter? I don't mind spending the money on it, just want to make sure that's what I need. Radio works and functions, but I get no sound through speakers.

TIA! Also anyone have pics of DOUBLE DIN radios installed in Pacificas? I haven't fabbed up a kit yet and want to get some Ideas. There's plenty of space, but no trim options, just want to know what some have done.

I just completed a double din install in a pacifica.. Check out my eiarlier post on the subject in this forum. I will try and get some pictures and post. You are right there is plenty of room, just no aftermarket trim kit. I bought a single din kit and cut it with a dremel. Basically am just using the sides as the radio takes up the entire height exactly.

Yes you have to use the 02 can buss adaptor. The factory amp gets its turn on signal over the can buss as well as front and rear fade. The adaptor solves all of those problems.

Could you tell me which can bus adapter(company) you used and what the model number is ? I'm having a hard time finding one. I tried one from AXXESS, but I don't think it was the right model.

I need to know which one is the right one.
I was lucky to be able to return it, it was $130.00.
TIA!
