Default AWD in the snow

saw you guys talking about tires and the PAC AWD. live in BC and had a big dump of snow this week...hell! put a set of Nokian WR tires on to replace the michelins...can't get the thing stuck ..goes anywhere with NO problem. Excellent tire in the rain too.

I wish I had made an investment with the Nokians again....I'm also in BC and digging out of the same dump of snow. I used to have Nokians on my last car, they really are great, especially compared to the stock Michelins.
Trying not to drive the Pac in this weather, it's very stable and sure, but slow to get going without snow tires(FWD only).I'll need new tires before next winter, and the Nokians will be high on my list. They are a little loud when the road is clear and you have a window down, they growl a bit around corners and turns. I'd like to get a set for the stock 17" wheels and eventually get new rims(19/20's) and tiresfor the dry season. That way it's just a quick wheel swap without a visit to the tire shop.
