Changing clock in 2007 Pacifica
Hello All
I am making an attempt to install the analog clock with NAV (got it off ebay) in my Pacifica Limited. I am in the process of removing the dash covers but have come across a hitch. I was able to remove the lower dash panels on the driver's side except the one with the ignition key. How does that one come off? I can see that there are those infamous clips near the top of the trim piece. This piece is the black trim to the left of the radio/HVAC. On the right side of the radio/HVAC, how does that black trim piece come off?
I am hoping that after removing those trim pieces, that it will expose the remainder of the screws (or whatever fastening devices) that hold the gauge surround/HVAC vents. I would hate myself if I broke any of those plastic parts. [:@]
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
PS: My intention is to install the factory NAV (just because it's a project). I'll post another question about that in these forums.

RE: Changing clock in 2007 Pacifica
1. Open hood, disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the steering opening cover two retaining screws and cover.
3. Remove the knee blocker airbag (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS/KNEE BLOCKER AIRBAG - REMOVAL).
4. Unsnap the left end cover and remove.
5. Remove the two screws to the left lower instrument panel trim plate.
6. Remove the instrument panel center bezel (Refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER BEZEL - REMOVAL).
7. Remove the eight retaining screws to the cluster bezel.
IT SEEMS I RECALL SOMEONE ELSE ON THIS ( OR ANOTHER ) FORUM HAS DONE THIS AND FOUND A SHORTCUT.

Got it installed, not without a bit of cursing and swearing. I wasn't able to completely remove the instrument panel surround, but was able to get it out far enough to blindly undo the screws for the clock/NAV controls. []
