MPG display

I just bought a 2004 Pacifica, and On my dash, I have the average MPG displayed. It has said 7.6 MPG average since I bought it and has not changed.
Is there a reset for this value? if so how is it done?

read the owners manual it will tell u how to reset it.

Press the STEP button for at least four consecutive times while the MPG is displayed. It will reset the MPG counter.
