Default Ditching the Sirius

Free subscription ran out on the Sirius. Not going to bite on the renewal offer.

Is it any big deal to remove the receiver from the rear compartment? Any adverse affects?

I'd like to free up a little space in there and that receiver is just dead weight now.

Don't think it would be a big deal but you say free up space? Isn't it in a spot that in usually not accessible? It sounds like you want to store things in its spot. Does it take up space in that cubby hole compartment or is it behind it?

Located under rear floor. Removing it will make a little more room for jumper cables, fire extinguisher, ice scraper, etc.

Hi
took my module out with no adverse effects. Just no "call 800-453-xxxx) to set up your subscription" when I select sirius

BTW I have the limited with disc changer and video. All work normally.
