have hid stock on my 04.....not very impressed... spare the expense and go with an aftermarket bulb ( PIAA,Silverstar Ultra, etc). You will be able to see better both low and hi, and you get a better light pattern that is more user friendly...

Really? my 04 HID's were excellent. Are they adjusted correctly? Wish we had them on the Town and Country now.

Question HID on 2005 pac

I have HIDs on my 2005Pac. One burned out. Didn't realize the cost of these bulbs - 120 bucks or so?!!? My question is can I take the headlight assemblies out and replace them with standard assemblies so I can just go to Advanced Auto and buy some cheaper halogen bulbs? Will the plugs match up? Will the computer allow this? I thought I would go to a salvage yard and pick two up if this would work. What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks

Pacfica owners crack me up.. there are those who have HID and want to convert to standard lights and those with standard that want to convert to HID. You should search for each other and trade parts

Thanks for all this I have a 95 New Yorker and I'm very happy with my silverstar lights and I had been pondering the worth of aftermarket HID lights.

Read above people who are after these, btw projector lamps are stupid expensive cause there an arc lamp. Imax style lamps in miniature. The best lights you can get for non HID are gonna set you back 60 bucks a pair, thats HALF of one blown lamp for hid. Plus blow a HID lamp in the mountains or middle of nowhere your totally screwed until you get back to civilization. Most good gas station carry replacement for normal lamps.
