It doesnt necessarily denote base model, It IS available in AWD format...and Just an Opinion...but the 3.8 is Just as durable as a 3.5...If not More....

Why Chrysler would only make a Car in WHITE is still a mystery........
Is that a 300 that was repainted Blue...Or a Blue DOBA that got the "Crown Coupe" harware and the special grille?

Chrysler advertised them as "A new base
model engine"; now what they meant I guess Is up to the translator. It's a good engine, my son's '08 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon had it, solid but underpowered and a gas hog.
How common/rare is a 3.8?
