Default New vehicles are "odd"

Had an interesting experience yesterday with our 07 Pac.

Stopped and acquired ½ tank of fuel and then went to the carwash. On the way home (3 miles) the electronic throttle dash light came on along with the traction control indicator light.

The Pac would only go at one speed up the hill towards home i.e. about 40 mph and the idle stuck at about 1100 rpm.

When we finally got home I added two bottles of dry gas to the tank and in the morning ....you guessed it ... No indication that anything was ever wrong.

These new electronics are a mystery.

That's like this trans shudder that I've got. Somedays the shudder is unbearable and annoying, yesterday I thought maybe it had fixed itself. I wish! You guessed it, it's back.

You didn't leave the gas cap off when driving through the car wash, did you? That could explain a lot.
