Nuvi GPS and Pro Fit mounts
I'm looking for opinions. Who here is using the Garmin GPS or some other type of electronic device that you want a cool place to mount it? I have used pro fit mounts in the past and like them. I was looking for a place to mount my Garmin 200w. I checked the site http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/and saw the new VSM G3 mount. It uses the same ball type mount as garmin which allows the garmin to snap right on. I called them up and they told me that they will not make one for the pacifica since 2008 is the last production year. I think this sucks. If others are interested in this mount, maybe we could convince them to make one. It can be used for all kinds of electronic devices. My plan B is to buy a regular mount for the pacifica and a G3 mount for something else and cut and weld to make my own. Anyone else want this thing as bad as I do.

RE: Nuvi GPS and Pro Fit mounts
I have the Nuvi 250 and actually never gave a custom mount a thought.
I just put mine right at the rear view mirror where the grid on the windshield rounds around.
I was looking and trying to think of a way to utilize the ashtray area.

Mine is stuck on the windshield too, and it is easy to view. Sometimes on a hot day it falls off. I keep the windshield and the suction cup clean. I just want a more custom look without the wire hanging down. Hmmmm.... I could come up with a mount that mounts high on the windshield that is much stronger(will never fall off) and run the wires in the headliner. But I still want them to make the G3 mount for the Pac.
