Default Power lift gate on pacifica '06 not working

Hello all. I am an owner of a Chrysler Pacifica 2006 base model. My key fobs (2) came with the power lift gate option. However, when I press it, it doesnt work at all. I would GREATLY appreciate it if someone could help me! I have tried pressing it several ways. The other buttons ( lock/unlock/alarm) work on my key fobs. Thanks!

Does it work with the inside button? If so, it likely needs a computer flash, more or less fixed my wife's at $100 for a 5 minute job. Hers still balks sometimes.

There should be a button on the overhead console that works the gate. Thbe flash is a proceeddure done at the dealer using a scan tool.

If the interior button operates that liftgate there may be a problem with the key FOB button itself or perhaps the BCM needs to be reflashed as Randy mentions above.

I am having the same problem. My car does not have an overhead liftgate button.
