Default Power Liftgate Unresponsive

I have a 05 Pacifica, and the liftgate is not working. I can't remember for sure, but it may have been sporatic for a couple months and now has stopped working entirely, but I'm not sure about that, it may have just been getting the error that it was too hot or too cold.

Anyway, on to the problem at hand. The liftgate it TOTALLy unresponsive, no beeps, sound of liftgate motor or anything when I push the button on the key or inside the car. The only thing the liftgate button DOES do is blink the lights.

The dash doesn't give any sort of indication that the liftgate button has been pushed on the info screen.

I'm wondering if there is a power failure somewhere and I just need to reconnect something.

HELP! No one else seems to have this specific problem, hopefully that's a good thing.

lift it manually, and see if you can close it with power.....

That will test the integrity of the motor...Then we look at the latch.

I have a 2004 and mine does this every once in a while...it seems to be if I open it manually it glitches. Usually once I manually open and close it it seems to reset itself...it's weird and I'm not really sure why it happens. Hope it gets straightened out for you
