Default Seatbelt Notification

I've tried to deactivate the seatbelt notification alarm on my '06 Pac by following the instructions in the manual, but I can't get it to shut off. Does anyone know any other ways to deactivate it?

Disconnect both battery terminals and touch them together for about 10 seconds. Then redo the instructions from the manual. Please note the chime will always chime when you start the car and fasten seat belt light will always be on.

Default RE: Seatbelt Notification

This has workedon an'05 andon an '07, maybe yours as well? No harm in trying:

Begin with seatbelt buckled. Insert key in ignition turn to "on".

When seatbelt indicator on dash turns off you have 30 seconds (no more) to unbuckle, then buckle it3 times. Make sure you watch the dash and see that the seatbelt indicator turns off each of the ten times you unbuckle it.

End with buckle locked in place.

Turn ignition off and you should hear a signal to let you know if you did it right.

Good luck.
