Smile Spring is near...Off comes the snowtires.

Spent a couple hours yesterday removing the Blizzaks and putting the Michelins back on for the summer. Always a chore that I look forward to every year.
Of course if we now have a March snowstorm ..... we will be cribbed up for a day or two.

How did those Blizzaks work on your Pac in the snow? I might look into them come the fall maybe, I've been running General Altimax HP's with really good success. Just curious...

The Blizzak DM-Z3 snows were excellent. I explored during snowstorms a couple times to see if I could test their limits and did not find any problems at all.

These are the HP's I was telling you about. I will probably go with the Blizzaks in the fall/winter, just to be safe...

Just as a follow up about the DM-Z3 tires......... I was pleased enough with them to compel me to buy four more from the Tirerack and four wheels off Ebay to get a full set ready for the wife's van next year. Now they are mounted and ready to go. Storage has now become a new issue.

They make a "big" difference
