Default Strange issue with HomeLink

I programmed homelink to open my garage door 3 days ago and now my garage is openning on it's own. It happened Friday afternoon and again Sunday morning.

Has anyone seen anything like this. The garage door opener is a Craftsman 3/4.

I would suggest you follow the instructions to clear or erase the Homelink programming for a few days, and see if the garage door keeps acting up. If it does, then the problem is not related to the Homelink. If the problem stops (meaning that Homelink likely is causing it), then it sounds like the electronic switch inside the unit is malfunctioning. I doubt that part is servicable and you'd probably need to replace the whole thing (not THAT complicated) if you want to use it. Definitely a warranty issue if you still have coverage remaining.

I guess it's not homelink. I cleared all the channels and it's still acting up... cleared my keypad as well. I think my neighbors may have some how picked up my frequency and they open my door when they close theirs. I'll reset everything tonight, hopefully it goes away.

TY
