Water "Sloshing" sound
Greetings from the Pacific North-wet!
Anyone having an issue like this...
After the car has been parked and subjected to a lot of rain (or in general, water), you hear what sounds like water in some type of reservoir or channel that begins to "slosh around" like it's getting ready to head off to a drain point? After a few minutes of driving and some turns the sound dissipates; I assume the water has "drained off."

RE: Water "Sloshing" sound
Do you have a moonroof? Mine will have water sit in the "tray" under the moonroof tracks. After a few minutes of driving, it all runs out the drain lines. And I've had it sitr outside during a one inch rain fall with out the tray overflowing onto the passager compartment..

Nope, no sunroof. The sound "seems" to come from the area just forward of the windshield; like it is near the firewall or perhaps in the cavity just forward of where the windshield wipers are. The sound is very distinct... not muffled.

Where the water drains down the windshield there is an area where the water collects, by the wiper motor, there is a drain tube(drivers side)in there and drains the water. Mine was clogged with debris so I pulled the tube out and cleared up the junk and it drains fine now. When the car sits in the rain and I move it the next day there wil be a line of water down the road when i pull away from the draining of the area
