2008 PT Cruiser with Radio problem

Hello,
I have an '08 PT Touring edition. The base radio and CD sound OK, allowing for the limitations of the stock system. The problem I am having is the satelite radio sounds really bad. It's sounds like the channels are out of phase with each other. With proper reception, Satelite radio should sound better than FM and it is really bad on this car's unit. Is there any previous history with the stock radio having this problem? Suggestions?
