Vehicle raises $37,000 for ovarian cancer research at the Legends Galla in New York City
Auburn Hills, Mich., Nov 18, 2004 - The Chrysler Group?s contribution of a 2005 Chrysler PT Dream Cruiser Series 4 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund?s (OCRF) third annual Legends Gala charity auction raised $37,000 to fight this deadly disease.

The event took place in New York City on Nov. 4. Overall, the event raised close to $4.4 million to help fight ovarian cancer.

?I?m so excited with the success of this year?s event,? said Jamie Boris, Executive Director of OCRF. ?The Legends Gala is so important in the fight against ovarian cancer. "We are very happy to have had the opportunity to donate the inspiring Limited Edition 2005 Chrysler PT Dream Cruiser Series 4 to benefit such an inspirational cause,? said Jeff Bell, Vice President, Chrysler/Jeep?.

The Legends Gala is a glamorous event uniting the worlds of beauty, fashion and music to raise money for the fight against ovarian cancer. This year?s event was hosted by L?Oreal Paris and honored:

Trudie Styler, Producer and Activist
The evening also featured many of OCRF?s celebrity supporters, including Milla Jovovich, Peter Boyle, Al Roker, Deborah Roberts, Joy Behar, Tommy Hilfiger, Kenneth Cole, Kyan Douglas and Veronika Verekova.

Awash in Deep Lava Red paint with a maroon cloth convertible top and powered by a 220-horsepower high-output turbocharged engine, the new limited-production 2005 Chrysler PT Dream Cruiser Series 4 is the latest version of the Chrysler PT Cruiser.

The ninth factory-customized version of the segment-busting Chrysler PT Cruiser since its launch in 2000, the PT Dream Cruiser Series 4 is a convertible featuring chrome grille accents and 17-inch Satin Silver-painted 15-spoke wheels with a smooth silver center cap.

A Light Pearl Beige convertible boot coordinates with Light Pearl Beige leather performance seats. Complementary maroon accents appear throughout the interior. The high-output 2.4-liter turbocharged engine that powers the 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser Dream Series 4 produces 220-horsepower (164 kW) at 5100 rpm and 245 lb.- ft. (332 N?m) of torque from 2400 to 4400 rpm. A five-speed Getrag manual transaxle is standard on the Dream Cruiser Series 4; a four-speed automatic transaxle with AutoStick? is also available.

Chrysler PT Cruiser and Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible vehicles are built at the Toluca Assembly Plant in Mexico. Since its launch as a production vehicle in February 2000, more than 770,700 Chrysler PT Cruiser vehicles have been sold worldwide.

Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF):
The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund is the leading independent, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing research, raising awareness and finding a cure for ovarian cancer.
