Default more power

Hi all,
I have been doing some research and posting on a lot of threads, lol But want to know if there is an modification I can do to my 06 TE convert, it is a non turbo, and I already have a cold air intake and dual exhaust.
I have heard good and bad news about performance chips, is there one out there that is not to costly and easy to install?
Thanks
Rich
