2005 pt cruiser AC stopped working. I had seen that the connector to the climate control was melted and the two right most wires didn't look great. It was working in this condition before the AC went out. I believe the climate control had been replaced by the previous owner but I think they left the connector charred. Now I want to replace the connector but before I do, is there a way to test that the wires and climate control are working? I pulled up a manual with a diagram but I am not familiar with reading diagrams. Honda manuals tell you step by step instead of a diagram.
