The thing about the fan on a PT is that it is a internal 2 circuit fan. You may hear the fan running but if low or high speed is out by itself a layman would think that the fan is OK or it is a relay problem. I've diagnosed a bunch that other shops have sent over. It's a common repair in dealerships though. The last time I checked O'reillys had the motor for 100 bucks but you'll have to splice in the connector from the old fan. The dealer ones run about 250, but you get new shroud, motor, blade and short relay harness with relays as an assembly
