Default 01 Sebring not blowing air, hot or cold.

I have a 2001 Sebring, recently the air stopped working entirely. started by not working until the car had warmed up, now it does not work at all. I tried calibrating the vents by turning the temp dial to cold, direction to defrost, and holding the rear defrost until it beeped. That did not help. Any ideas? I am hoping to avoid bringing it into the shop if at all possible for this one. Thanks!

Sounds like your heater blower is not working. Could be the blower motor or maybe the resistor block has completely fried. The resistor is the easier fix.
Another possibility is the control head has gone bad. They are notoriously problematic. The control head is a very easy swap. Try one from a junkyard. Any non-ATC one from a Sebring sedan or convertible or a Dodge Stratus sedan from '01 to '06 should fit. I think later ones are more likely to not have the problems so common in the '01.
Worst case scenario is a problem in the body control module. For some unfathomable reason Chrysler decided to make the heater controls run through the body computer. When you twist a dial on the contol head, this tells the computer what you would like it to do. Sometimes the computer decides to let you have your way....

The guy above is exactly right. The most common and most likely issue is the blower motor resistor. Cheap part, and it'll take you ten minutes to put it in yourself. They burn out frequently. Try that first, it'll be the easiest and cheapest issue to tackle.
