Default 04 sebring convertible 2.7 engine swap

I've seen a lot of information about swapping the 2.7l engine to 3.5l engine. However, must of it seems to be referencing 98-01 sebrings or dodge intrepids. Has any one done a 3.5L (or 3.2L) swap to an 04 or similar chrysler sebring? I'd like to salvage the car if possible. I have a second car so down time to do the swap would not be an issue. I'm assuming I would need a 2000 to 2004 3.5l engine from a dodge intrepid. however I'm not seeing specific information about intake manifold / hood clearance, mounts ,etc. Will the intrepid instructions work? Thanks in advance for any help.

Go over to the Chrysler Sebring Convertible Club site and browse around there. There's a guy who managed to put a 3.5L engine into his convertible. Don't know if he ever got the A/C hooked up, and the hood had to be modified along with a ton of other stuff. If you've got lots of skill, time and money to pour into the project, and won't mind if the car has zero resale vale when you're finished, then have at it.
