1997 chrysler sebring 2.5 lxi No spark

I have read verious posts! The issue here is no spark, I have tryed verious resolves ! 1: chked timing belts no issue there. 2: chked cap and rotor, each replaced! 3:chked ASD seems to be operating?at least it clicks when key is turned on! Question : is there a separate-[fire control modual for spark? Or does the ecm control everything? There are 2 finned aluminum units on the drvside wheelwell one is the ecm! a smaller one is there as well-[side by side] ! not sure as to what it is? My mech and I are at a loss! From the begining!!!! Went out to start the car and it would not start! after coming home from work in it! Since then we have gone as deep as we can at this point! All lights come on when key is in the ON position! No check light issue! diag ran from hand held diagnostic unit! no reported issues! HELP??????????????????????????????????? DON D PLUGNGO AZ. 2-20-2012

Replace the distributor.

Since the coil is internal -IE: W/Distributor!
This may be the next step?-[ at $200.00 per distr-,
this does not make me a happy camper!

1id you follow thru w/ all the above check and or replace points!
2:Are there any current electrical issues w/ your vehical! Ie: security system etc:
3: What year is your vehical?
4: Possibly the [distr] is Bad, Sorry to say!We get what we pay for from Ebay and amazon! Just sayin Here! Iam all in for saving money as well!

i have replaced distributor,plugs,crank sensor,timing belt,water pump,and just changed ECM still no spark
