2002 Sebring LXI AC Problem - Chrysler Forum

Problem: Ac turns on when it wants to, not when we want it to.

So the ac comes on as soon as the compressor turns on. It blows cold. But like i said it comes on when it wants to.

Low side 35
high side 150 both at about 70 degrees outside.

I charged it up with another can, nothing has changed.

Kind of stuck. Thanks

what does not come on? and what is high side 150 both?

both tests a 70 degrees. 150 was the pressure with my gauges. of course there pre r-134 though

ok first of all if your gauges are pre 134 then they wont hook up r12 and 134 use different size connectors and u should have about 100 psi on both sides when the compressor is not on and when running about 35 to 250.

when it wont work check for the power and ground at the compressor connector see which u are missing.

opk disregard what i said about the gauges. when the compressor is off its 105 105. when its on its 35 150. The connections are fine.

check your fuses and powers to the fuses one is more then likely blown

sure it's not on defog?
