Default 2004 Sebring Convertible: 2.7 to 2.5 Conversion

Upon having an epic fail with my 2.7 engine, I'm contemplating transplanting a 2.5 into the convertible. A guy has a rear-end-totalled 04 with a 2.5, and I'm contemplating a subframe-to-subframe conversion, using the PCM and TCM from the 2.5. Is this doable, at all, or should I be smoking a different brand?

That '04 with a 2.5 must be a coupe. The coupe was built by Mitsubishi, not Chrysler. There are practically no common parts. I hope you're a very good welder.
Don't bother trying to sell it when you're ready to move on 'cause nobody'll buy it at any price.
