2005 Sebring Convertible Wet Passenger Floor - Chrysler Forum

We have had wet passenger floors after a long drive and the A/C has been on. I have seen TSBs posted for a possible drain tube problem but I have been unable to find any photos representing the tube in question or adequate instructions to follow.

Can anyone help me out?

The drain tube for an A/C system usually comes through the firewall, bends down and just ends. Every other hose and wire harness under there goes off somewhere else. The end of the tube is generally flattened to keep bugs out. If you can find the tube, try massaging it gently to break up and crush the leaves and bugs and dirt trapped in it. Hopefully the crud will fall out and the drain will open.

Thanks dcotter I will try that. One more thing, the convertible top is pulling away from the rear window in one corner. As it is raining today in metro Detroit is there I can get to seal that?

I have had some luck with Polyseamseal adhesive caulk available in a tube from Lowe's for a few dollars. Search the forum for that. Recently, after a couple of years, that has been failing, too. I have seen numerous good reports about Rhino glue. I think I'll try that next.
A good clean surface is always very important for glueing anything. No matter how well the glue sticks, if it's only sticking to dirt, as soon as the dirt unsticks, the joint fails.
