2007 chrysler sebring pcm problems
Ok guys i have a problem and have no clue what to do any help would be appreciated! My pcm was bad it was over charging so i ordered a new one online that was preprogramed, I unhooked the negative battery cable and installed the pcm and the car would only turn over not even try to start so then i replaced the old one on and the same thing it will only turn over but wont start up.

are we talking about hte same PCM - Powertrain Control Module ? A have to see the schematics. This would be the first time I see that PCM controls the charge of battery. Interesting, how can PCM handle charge current (could be tens of A)... AFAIK alternators has a device bolted to their back - charge regulator.
What is an Alternator and How Does it Work? Understanding Alternator Generators
If no schematics available I would say it that regulator fault. Not PCM...

You're right, looked at the schematics ant there is connection to PCM. But then again - repair schould be simple. It is rare that something would be worse that burned transistor. For my car schematics is here:

Its just the example, but might fit all Chryslers so, riverrat might try to repair PCM Same as I did with Front ECU and ECM. Reports are in my posts to this forum Anyway, I will try to answer the questions, but would be great to see the pictures of PCM board.
But not only the PCM might be faulty, it controls the Voltage Regulator chip on the alternator, so maybe PCM controls the Regualtor, but Regulator does not do what the PCM says Or the PCM might not see that Regulator is doing. Accordint to schematics there is a resistor Voltage devider (made of two resistors that are drawn in the schematics I attached). Maybe the wire from alternator to PCM is damaged and PCM does not see the right Voltage so tries to increase it and because of that overcharging the battery. About Voltage devider:
