Default Coolant leak

My sisters 2004 sebring has a leak with some dried up foam looking crap coming from a part on top of the engine. I don't know what it's called but it has a big hose connected to it attached to the radiator. If anyone knows what I'm talking about could you tell me what the part is called and how hard it is to replace. I can get pictures if needed.

Which engine does the car have? V-6 or four cylinder?

That thing is called the coolant outlet manifold. There's lots of discussion about it on the forum.
See here for example: https://www.chryslerforum.com/forum/...ht=gear+wrench

It's a bit tricky to replace it but with the correct tools you can do it without removing the upper intake manifold.
The part is available from the dealer but with some diligent detective work you can find it for much less elsewhere, including on the web.

Hey thanks for your help. My sister is taking it to the dealer tomorrow and I didn't want them giving her a line of bs since she's a girl.

My local dealer wanted nearly $500 to replace this part. I was able to do it myself one evening after work using a part from AutoZone for less than $75.

3 hose clamps, four bolts (okay, one of them is a little tough to get to) and one screw is all it takes. It is probably easier to do than replacing the rear bank of sparkplugs.
