Default 2008 Sebring TPMS recalibration

I recently had 4 new tires installed, and the installer noticed one of the TPMS valves was broken. I went to NAPA and bought a new TPMS and the tire installer put the new sensor on my tire. He said that after driving it at a higher speed for 15 minutes or so, it should reset.

Well, first it read "0", now I am just getting "--" and the tire pressure light cycles on and off. Is there a sequence of codes I can enter to recalibrate this, or do I need to go to a Chrysler dealer to do this?

This is a 2008 Sebring convertible touring edition. Thanks!

If it helps, the replacement sensor was Redi Sensor, a VDO Multi-Application TPMS sensor. On the box it says "No sensor programming required, installs right out of the box, works with all major TPMS scan tools."

I'd be looking for a VDO site. Chances are they know more about their aftermarket products than anyone here.

Hi GP
I had the same problem broken valve, if you look on ebay you can buy just the valve and fit that to the TPMS. a lot cheaper also.
