Default Basic maintenance

High guys, finally got my fun car running good and now I have some time to invest into my DD, I got my 06 in 2007 with about 24k and have hit 90k mark. So far I have cleaned the Intake manifold, throttle body, air filter and new plugs. Next I plan on doing the serpentine belt, and removing the injectors for cleaning. Is there anything else I should tackle while I am in the area.

Is the fuel filter a in-tank style or do they have an external fuel filter?

Fuel filter is in the tank. Devote some attention to the transmission. Search the forum here for discussions on that topic. Your owners manual contains a full maintenance schedule.

I second that the owners manual is the best place for the scheduled services

Yes, I planned on doing a tranny flush but I cannot find a service manual anywhere, and the only haynes manual I could find in town goes up to 2005, which really is not much different then the 2006 model but I would rather have the real thing.

No drain plug. You can buy Haynes manuals on line. Factory service manuals come up on eBay from time to time. Keep an eye out for a set. There are 4 or five books in the whole set.

You can download an owners manual from chrysler.com if you need one.

Ok, thanks

Today I pulled the fuel rail and cleaned the injecter inside and out, they spray like factory new now. It was pretty easy and a lot less difficult then I though
