Exclamation Buying a Sebring: Need tips

I am looking at a 2008 Chrysler Sebring Touring Edition with the 101K on the clock. It has the 2.4L I4 engine with the 4-Speed Automatic VLP.

Looking for any tips on things to look for before making an offer. I have already checked all power items, checked fenders and doors for rust, and made sure their isnt any wobble in the front end up to 90MPH. I have the vehicle until tomorrow around 10AM.

Also do these vehicles have the CVT style transmission? We did notice a slight jerk driving between 35-45MPH. In my Caliber with a CVT it jerks a little due to being between shift points. Just curious if this is normal.

i just bought a 2008 convertable.......100000miles....2.4..........orde red new struts for all four corners. having trouble with driver window closing completely when door closes.......make sure you have no oil drips after a hard run. if you don't know service history, have a compression check done. these little engines work hard.

i find it much noiser than a big engine car. a little more herky-jerky.

good luck
