Default disconnect wires at door post

I was trying to fix some broken wires that go through the boot at the drivers door hinge area on a 2004 Sebring. My questin is this. How can I disconnect the wiring harness. I have pulled back the boot, but I don't want to damage the connectors. I did not have any luck finding the answer searching to I was wondering if anyone here could explain.

Look at the connectors closely. They always have a little catch of some kind that prevents them from falling apart. You either squeeze it or lift it to undo it. Once you have the catch disengaged, you can pull or carefully pry the connector apart. They are designed to go together very quickly and stay together. Getting it apart is the tricky side of the equation.
