Default Farily Imperssive Fuel Mileage!

-Well, just got back from a trip to Myrtle Beach. I averaged between 34 and 36 mpg each way with my '10 Sebring Touring 2.4L. Even with the a/c on both ways and driving through the mountains I was still hitting those numbers. And I must say. The ride was also a good bit better than my Wife's '05 Neon SXT. I filled up when we left Myrtle, and didn't refill until I was about half way between Charleston and Ripley, WV coming back to Ohio. And I'm still on 3/4 tank right now! Take that, you micro imports!!!

L8R,
Matt

Was that computer read out mileage or hand calculated?

-Hand calculated. I do it basically at every fill-up with mine and my Wife's car. That way I know if there's a decent drop in mileage, I have to start looking at why. Been doing it for years. Even to work and back I run right around 29-30 mpg about 50/50 mixed highway and in town, so I knew it would increase some doing mostly straight Interstate driving....

-Another update on the MPG. We were in Myrtle again two weeks ago. Averaged between 36.5 and 37.75 MPG this time around. Still running around 30 MPG around town and to work and back throughout the week. I'll take the vacation mileage any day!
