Lost the key & need to start the car? Help!

Default Lost the key & need to start the car? Help!

So I only have one key for my 07 Sebring. . lost the spare. Well now, I've lost my main key as well. I'm sure I just misplaced it in a very well hidden place. Anyways, I absolutely need to be able to start my car tomorrow an with no key I'm kinda stuck.
I do however have an old 07 Dodge Caliber key and when I stick it in the ignition it turns on the power to the car. So now I just need figure out how to jiggle it on. . ? But my question is, is it even possible to start the Sebring with a Caliber key. And how do you go about "jiggling" it.

Nowadays, keys have an electronic device in them that can be read by the car's computer. So even if you can turn the key in the lock, the car won't start unless the electronic device matches what the computer is looking for.
If it were real easy to do this, your car would have been stolen a long time ago.
Start looking real hard for those missing keys. If you can't find 'em, call a tow truck and have it towed to the nearest Chrysler dealership where they will be happy to make you a new set of keys. Bring along an arm and a leg to pay for them.

the other key idea not gonna happen the keys u lost are coded to your car only so any other key not gonna let it start U get to A tow it to a dealer let them cut u a new one and code that key or B lock smith do the same procedure.

Oh yeah, the best way to find a missing key is to spend the money to buy a new one. The old one will surely turn up shortly after the check clears.
