The bolts that hold the pump are the ones you must loosen to slacken the belt tension. Then rotate the pump toward the engine. There's a 1/2 inch square opening in the bracket that accepts a 1/2 inch drive wrench. Tighten the belt with that and lock the bolts to hold it.

i found that there was one bolt to lossen for the tension..just not sure on the other two bolts where they are located,,I saw two from underneath the car looks like they hold it to the engine..are those the ones to remove?

Pretty much every belt-driven thing in the world has more or less the same design to properly tension the belt. There will be a pulley that is mounted so that it swings through an arc and as it does, it takes up tension on the belt. In order to accomplish this, there will be a pivot bolt at the center of the arc and a locking bolt at the circumference of the arc. Both need to be loosened (not removed) so the pulley can be swung through the arc. Then, when the tension is acheived, both need to be tightened back down.
First locate the locking bolt. It should be easy to find as it will sit somewhere in a curved slot. Then, imagine that curve is part of a complete circle. At the center of the circle will be the pivot bolt. Then look for the method of tensioning the belt once the pivot and locking bolt are loosened. There will either be something to pry against, or maybe a square hole to put a breaker bar in or maybe even a jackscrew to tighten.
If you can understand the basic concept you can deal with belt replacement on things from the furnace fan to the lawn mower to your power steering pump or pretty much anything driven by a v-belt.
