Default Security light on solid - Wont crank

My dad owns a 2005 Sebring and he suddenly can not start his car. He checked the alternator, battery and starter. The alternator was bad so he replaced it. The battery was fine as we the starter. I think I have determined that it was the stock security system that locked the car down.

I simply can not find a method to reset it to allow him to operate his car again. He has two Grey keys and a KeyFob. The light is solid in the start position. In the manual, it states that a solid light refers to electrical issue. He replaced the starter switch in the ignition as well, that wasnt it.

Any ideas? I have been googling all day with nothing in return that has helped.

"won't crank" implies the starter won't turn the engine over. I would check the starter relay circuit. I would also look for any corroded connections.

When the security system is working properly, it shuts the engine down after about 2 seconds of running. That doesn't sound like what you have described.
